We are an FCA-regulated claims management company with permission to advise, investigate, and represent clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a personal injury solicitor or a senior litigation executive with experience in claimants' personal injury claims, accident management and credit hire to manage a portfolio of cases and a team of claim handlers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, highly knowledgeable individual who wants to excel in their career and contribute to the firm's next level of success.
You are expected to conduct and manage all aspects of the caseload, including making informed decisions that require the exercise of judgment. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of CPR, the OIC portal, the MOJ Claims portal, claims tracks, and costs. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and handle cases from beginning to end.
While duties may vary depending on the type and nature of each case, your typical responsibilities will be:
- Assess and advise on the prospects of success, including the likelihood of claim settlement.
- Advising clients.
- Reviewing liability, quantum and credit hire eligibility.
- Negotiating settlements.
- Draft letters of claim.
- Instruct medical and various experts.
- Assess and advise on the expert reports.
- Reviewing offers received and advising clients.
- Reviewing defences and preparing replies.
- Progress claims proactively and proportionately.
- Act as the first and primary contact for clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Meet the KPI targets.
This role is an office-based role in Stratford, London, E15, near Pudding Mill Lane station on the DLR.
