Your Role
In a nutshell, you’ll be working on a wide range of projects as a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer. The role, based in Sheffield, will see you:
- Embarking on structural design for residential structures.
- Designing and delivering fully compliant drainage systems, including SuDS, gaining experience in external works design and site levels for both residential and commercial developments.
- Being introduced to using software to assist with calculations and structural design such as AutoCAD, PDS, FLOW, Site3D, Microdrainage, MasterSeries, SCIA and Strand7.
- Preparing, detailing and reviewing drawings of the systems designed.
- Having excellent communication skills and being capable of working collaboratively with other engineers and technicians.
- Coordinating with engineers in other disciplines such as Geotechnical and Geo‑environmental.
- With the support of Eastwood Consulting Engineers, have a commitment to working towards becoming chartered.
