Teaching and support staff

Staff required for small school in Cardiff city centre providing education for pupils with ALN – primarily school based anxiety, SEMH, ASD and ADHD.

We are seeking both teaching and support staff to join our team. Ideally qualified and/or experienced but with a passion and understanding of pupil needs as a priority. Flexibility and team playing are key qualities.

We would like successful candidates to start as soon as possible.

Salary will be based on experience.

Hours: Full-time, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Desirable Requirements:

• Teaching qualification or experience.

• Experience working with children or young people is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

• Ability to use school transport for trips and external activities.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Experience working with students with additional learning needs.

• A relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field.

• Experience working in an independent school or alternative education setting.
