Eastside is looking to expand its filmmaking facilitator team for the next academic year.
We’re looking for passionate filmmakers and creative facilitators to deliver inspiring workshops for young people.
You’ll support young people to develop their ideas, learn practical filmmaking skills, collaborate creatively and bring their stories to life on screen
Members of our artist team have previously delivered film-based residencies with young people, led filmmaking projects in schools and community settings, and taught on BFI Short Courses.
We’re looking to build on this expertise by welcoming new facilitators with a passion for creative learning and youth filmmaking.
We’re looking for artists who
- Are experienced filmmakers and creative facilitators.
- Have experience delivering engaging filmmaking workshops for children and young people.
- Can confidently adapt to different learning needs, environments and abilities.
- Are passionate about using filmmaking to develop confidence, creativity, collaboration and self-expression in children and young people.
- Have practical filmmaking skills across one or more disciplines, such as directing, screenwriting, cinematography, sound, editing or documentary production.
- Are organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Are friendly, professional and able to represent Eastside positively while delivering creative projects.
- We offer
- £250 per full-day workshop and £170 per half-day workshop.
- Paid facilitator training for our programmes.
