You do not need to come from football. We are interested in the commercial expertise, perspective and connections you can bring, alongside a commitment to our purpose and values.

If you join us at Leicestershire & Rutland County FA:

Joining the LRCFA Board will allow you to apply your commercial expertise to something with real purpose, helping shape the future of grassroots football across Leicestershire and Rutland. Most importantly, you will be helping an organisation that wants football to have a positive impact on people and communities.

Who are we looking for?

  • Commercial leadership, business development or income generation
  • Developing strategic partnerships or sponsorship relationships
  • Identifying and assessing new commercial opportunities
  • Building influential relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Contributing strategically to organisational decision-making.

You will also bring strong relationship-building and influencing skills, sound judgement, and the confidence to offer both support and constructive challenge around the Board table.

Please make sure you read our Candidate Information Pack before applying. It contains important details about the role and our organisation.

Don’t think you quite meet all of the specifications? Please don’t count yourself out. We know that good Board members can bring valuable skills and perspectives from many different areas of professional, voluntary and lived experience.
