Gloucestershire FA is the governing body for grassroots football across Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and most of Bristol. We help people play, coach, referee, volunteer and enjoy football in their local communities. Our Board provides strategic leadership and governance for the Association. It oversees our strategy, operational plans, policies and the financial investment needed to support the long-term future of grassroots football across the county.
We believe football can strengthen communities, inspire participation and create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our staff, volunteers and Board all play a part in making the game more inclusive, accessible and sustainable.
We are focused on improving playing opportunities, growing women’s and girls’ football, improving facilities, tackling poor behaviour, developing coaches, referees and volunteers, and diversifying our business. We are ambitious for football across the county, but we also need to be financially sustainable and well governed. We want to develop new income streams, make better use of our facilities and local relationships, and build stronger commercial partnerships.
