Freelance Schools Engagement Coordinator

Eastside is looking for 2.5 – 3 days a week freelance support to provide additional administrative and coordination capacity for our busy Schools Team from September to mid-November 2026, with the possibility of extending into a fixed-term role beyond this period.

Working closely with the Schools and Marketing Team, the freelancer will support the delivery and growth of our schools programmes, in particular Eastside Schools Workshops, helping to develop relationships with schools, designing and delivering marketing content to go to school contacts and on social media, follow up enquiries and bookings, coordinate projects and keep communications and administration running smoothly. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, confident communicating with schools and able to manage multiple priorities.

Experience in arts education, schools engagement, cultural engagement or a related field is desirable, alongside a genuine commitment to increasing access to creative opportunities for children and young people.

Eastside is committed to celebrating diversity and particularly welcomes applications from people from groups currently under‑represented in the cultural sector.
