A gardener is needed for hedge cutting, strimming, and other hard tasks in the garden. There is also a need for someone to help with the herbaceous borders and vegetable beds, with knowledge of what constitutes a weed. Either the same person or two separate gardeners may be suitable. The involvement is not on a regular basis but as tasks require attention. We live about 5 miles east of Dereham and about 14 miles west of the centre of Norwich.
Responsibilities:
- Hedge cutting and strimming
- Maintenance of herbaceous borders and vegetable beds
- Identifying and managing weeds
- Other garden tasks as needs arise
Qualifications / Experience:
- Knowledge of horticulture matters
- Knowledge about what is a weed
- Ability to work independently or with another gardener, as required
- willingness to engage on an as-needed basis rather than a regular schedule
