We are seeking a motivated candidate with attention to detail to join our potato operation as a Quality Control Technician for the 2026 season. This is a training role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, learning technical crop-monitoring skills, and contributing to a high-performing farming team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Yield digs — Conduct routine yield assessments across the farm to monitor crop performance.
  • Size digs — Carry out size profile digs to support grading, storage, and harvest planning.
  • Quality assessments — Evaluate crop condition, defects, dry matter, and overall quality.
  • Bruise assessments — Perform bruise testing during lifting and handling to minimise losses.
  • Reporting — Record findings accurately and communicate results to the management team.
