Wests Farm Produce is a progressive fresh produce business growing herbs and baby leaf salads for leading UK retailers and foodservice customers. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sprayer Operator / Crop Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in modern agriculture and wants to develop their career within a successful and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying crop protection products accurately and safely
- Carrying out drilling operations for herbs and salad crops
- Monitoring crop health and reporting issues
- Assisting with irrigation management
- Supporting crop establishment and field operations
- Maintaining spray and field records to a high standard
- Helping drive high standards of crop quality and presentation
About You
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- PA1/PA2 qualifications preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Experience operating modern farm machinery
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Interest in crop production and modern farming
