We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings, with hands-on experience in assembly and mechanical processes. This role requires leadership skills to manage a team effectively while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.

Based in Stanton By Dale.

Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure optimal workflow.
  • Attend daily production meetings to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance when required.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Previous experience leading teams or working in a supervisory role is essential.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of production work.
  • Able to work days/afternoon/night shifts as and when required.
