We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operative/Welder in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston. This is initially a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent.
Duties:
- Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery such as lathes and boring machines.
- Welding of pipe flanges using MIG welding techniques.
- Using verniers to measure finished products.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- An FLT licence is advantageous.
- At least 12 months of experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to work day and afternoon shifts.
What's in it for you:
- Working Monday to Friday, with day and afternoon shifts.
- Pay rate of £13.19 to £15.00 per hour.
