We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operative/Welder in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston. This is initially a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent.

Duties:

  • Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery such as lathes and boring machines.
  • Welding of pipe flanges using MIG welding techniques.
  • Using verniers to measure finished products.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
  • An FLT licence is advantageous.
  • At least 12 months of experience in MIG welding.
  • Ability to work day and afternoon shifts.
