We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a part time HR Officer based in Clay Cross, Derbyshire, working for a Manufacturing SME.
Duties:
- Assist in staff recruitment by preparing job descriptions, searching for suitable candidates and managing the hiring process.
- Orientate new employees and organise the training and development of existing employees.
- Deal with staff complaints, grievances and implement disciplinary procedure.
- Counsel staff about any problems they may have.
- Ensure company compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external HR Consultant.
- Create and maintain employee related policies, procedures and processes.
- Create staff communication and notices.
- Monitor timekeeping and absence records and escalation as per company policy.
- Ensure accurate and proper record keeping of employee information.
- Look after the health, safety and welfare of all employees.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an HR role.
- Able to work in a stand alone role, dealing with members of staff at all levels within the business, ensuring HR policies are implemented and maintained.
