Our client is currently recruiting for a fully qualified and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, nationwide automotive company.
Job Summary:
- Ensuring sold and stock vehicles are serviced and checked to a high standard in our flagship branch.
- Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Working closely with sales to ensure sold units are delivered promptly.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles and handling hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all work assigned quickly, economically, and to the company and manufacturer standards.
- Specialize in diagnostics, efficient root cause analysis, and repair.
- Advise the workshop controller if additional work is required and seek assistance in fault rectification.
- Maintain a high level of competence through ongoing training, courses, and reading technical bulletins; share diagnostic updates with colleagues.
- Discuss vehicle problems with customers as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and quality of service when dealing with customers.
- Operate all equipment, protective clothing, and work areas in a clean and safe manner.
- Assist management in implementing new methods to improve efficiency.
- Deputise for the Workshop Controller when required.
- Maintain good housekeeping and health and safety practices in the workshop.
- Operate all company-owned tooling responsibly.
