The Position
We are currently recruiting two Material Handlers to work a two-shift Monday to Friday rota consisting of morning and afternoon shifts. The successful candidates will be responsible for production packaging duties in a modern chemical manufacturing environment. Previous relevant chemical handling experience, as well as knowledge of chemical hazards and safety practices, would be advantageous.
The Role
- Packaging products efficiently and accurately.
- Performing manual handling tasks as required.
- Operating forklift trucks for material movement.
- Following established safety procedures at all times.
- Monitoring the process for any deviations and reporting them.
- Troubleshooting issues that may arise during operations.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
- Adhering to the organizational code of conduct for business and ethics.
- Engaging and participating in site-wide safety initiatives.
