We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Asset team on a full time, permanent basis. The role is to undertake the surveying function within Asset Management. Carry out stock condition surveys, undertake EPC and any property related surveys required, to contribute to the development of comprehensive and accurate stock condition information and support the short- and long-term asset management planning and the wider Property Services team.
What you'll do
- Conduct structural surveys and manage third-party structural engineers to assess causes and recommend remedies.
- Manage and progress insurance and disrepair claims, including inspections and investigations.
- Carry out property inspections for Landlord's consent and provide technical advice.
- Complete EPCs, retrofit assessments, and capture energy data to inform the Asset Database.
- Use energy software to support EPC C and Net Zero planning.
- Identify energy-efficient products and technologies to meet retrofit targets.
Requirements
- GCSE levels 9-4 in Maths and English or demonstrable level of numeracy and literacy skills.
- Construction knowledge and understanding of surveying.
- Strong customer care skills with recent experience in social housing.
- A reliable team player who supports colleagues effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards.
- Confident in dealing with the public, including handling challenging situations professionally.

Benefits / Total Rewards
- £32,058 per annum.
- £2,200 per annum car allowance.
- Full Time Permanent Contract.
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee's contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%).
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum - Subject to eligibility.
