We are looking for a skilled Kitchen and/or Bathroom Fitter to join our Home Solutions team on a permanent, full-time basis!

In this role, your daily duties will involve a variety of works such as fitting new kitchens and bathrooms in our customers’ homes, removing old fittings, installing units, plumbing, tiling, and decorating (excluding electrical work).

You\’ll communicate clearly with residents about the work being done inside their homes, while treating them with understanding and respect.
You will also follow health and safety procedures, report any safeguarding concerns, and work collaboratively with your team to improve service where possible.

To be successful, you\’ll need excellent trade skills, previous experience in fitting kitchens or bathrooms, with a strong focus on health and safety. The ability to communicate in a clear and polite manner is essential, along with a team-focused and customer-friendly attitude.

  • £34,302 per annum
  • Permanent, full-time contract
  • Power tools provided + £75 annually towards your hand tools
  • Company van & mileage provided
  • 30 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution – Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
  • Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
  • Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility
  • A healthcare cash plan, life assurance
  • Formal qualifications and paid professional membership
  • Clean and valid UK Driving Licence
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or Carpentry, or equivalent proven experience
  • Strong multi-trade experience, with a focus on fitting kitchens or bathrooms
  • Great customer service skills
