Eastlight has an exciting Fixed term/Secondment until March 2026, full-time opportunity for an Income Manager aiming to enhance the well-being of our residents.
What You\’ll Do
- Maximise income within Eastlight through the effective recovery of all housing related rent, service charges and any other debt for a patch including Tenants and Shared Owners.
- Work in accordance with court protocols and attend court and attend other related procedures such as eviction.
- Deliver basic advice on welfare benefits and make referrals to Eastlight Welfare Benefit Advisors, where appropriate; as well as comprehensive advice and assistance on Housing Benefit claims.
- Provide excellent customer services via telephone and face to face.
- Supply debt advice and signpost to other agencies where appropriate.
- Maintain good working relationships with both internal and external key partners and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to promote financial inclusion.
- Develop effective liaison arrangements with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies.
Requirements
- Applicants are required to hold a UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle, and be open to regional travel.
