We are looking for a skilled General Builder or Multi-trader to join Eastlight\’s Home Solutions Team on a permanent, full-time basis!
As a General Builder at Eastlight, you will carry out maintenance and repair works of all aspects, including tiling, plastering, roofing, key clamp installation and guttering, as well as other multi-skilled tasks associated with your trade. Your role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of our residents, promoting our positive brand image, and improving the quality of our residents\\\’ homes.
More About Your Day-to-Day:
- Perform maintenance and repair works on Eastlight properties
- Ensure all work meets the highest industry standards
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents about the work being carried out
- Collaborate with colleagues across Eastlight to provide exceptional service
- Salary: £34,302 per annum
- Permanent, Full-time contract
- Power tools provided + £75 annually towards your hand tools
- Company van & mileage provided
- 30 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution – Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
- Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
- Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility
- BHSF healthcare cash plan, life assurance
- Formal qualifications and paid professional membership
- Clean UK Driving Licence
- City & Guilds or NVQ2 in Roofing/Plastering/Bricklaying or equivalent demonstrable experience
