The Role

We're looking for a Strategic Asset Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, to lead the development of our asset management strategy, systems, and investment programmes. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our asset data is robust, reliable, and fit for purpose, enabling effective business planning and helping us meet regulatory and legislative requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the development and management of our 30-year Asset Plan.
  • Driving asset performance through data analysis, financial modelling, and active asset management.
  • Managing key asset management systems, including Keystone, ASAP, and GIS platforms.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise asset value through investment, regeneration, remodelling, or disposal.
  • Leading on stock rationalisation, land and non-housing asset strategies, and options appraisals.
  • Supporting innovation through digital infrastructure and smart technology initiatives.
  • Providing strategic recommendations and presenting insights to senior leadership and Board members.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in social housing asset management and business planning.
  • Strong knowledge of asset databases, investment planning, and portfolio performance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data and producing strategic reports.
  • Understanding of financial planning, risk management, and property performance modelling.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, with a property-related qualification desirable.

  • £60,528 per annum
  • £2,200 car allowance per annum
  • Permanent, full-time
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
  • Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay/6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility
