Position: Risk and Assurance Advisor â Strategy, Governance and Assurance team, fullâtime, permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Help enhance the culture of risk, fraud, Health & Safety and assurance awareness across the organisation.
- Lead the coordination and implementation of the risk management framework, delivering antiâfraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering risk management activity.
- Identify and communicate emerging risks and fraud threats, and work with the business to ensure quality of operational and strategic risk registers and fraud risk assessments.
- Deliver assurance and residentâled scrutiny programmes and undertake secondâline assurance activities such as testing of Health & Safety controls.
- Test internal controls, collaborate with the business, write reports, oversee fraud awareness campaigns, manage the fraud register and coordinate risk management activity.
- Deliver training on fraud, risk, and assurance, embedding Eastlight's values into everything you do.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a secondâline role in risk management, assurance, or Health & Safety.
- Experience dealing with fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering.
- Strong organisational and communication skills; proactive, detailâfocused, confident in challenging management when needed.
- Relevant qualifications desirable.
Compensation & Benefits:
- ÂŁ41,033 per annum
- Permanent contract, Fullâtime
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double up to 5% of employee contribution â Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Annual wellbeing grant of ÂŁ200 per annum â Subject to eligibility
- Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption â 12 weeks full pay/6 weeks half pay) â Subject to eligibility
