We’re looking for an experienced and driven Managing Agent Contract Manager to join our Compliance & Estates team on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract basis. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Eastlight’s homes on third-party managed estates are safe, compliant, and deliver exceptional value and service to our residents.
As Eastlight’s lead expert on managing agent performance and leasehold management, you’ll oversee relationships with our external agents to make sure every contract delivers on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This is an influential role that combines commercial acumen, legal understanding, and people skills – perfect for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing expert leadership and assurance on all aspects of managing agent performance and compliance.
- Ensuring service charge accuracy, transparency, and value for money.
- Acting as Eastlight’s subject matter expert for lease interpretation, rights, and obligations.
- Building strong partnerships with managing agents, internal teams, and residents.
- Overseeing the financial and safety performance of managing agents, identifying risks and driving solutions.
- Leading continuous improvement in the way we manage and monitor third-party estates.
You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002, and Leasehold & Freehold Reform Act 2024.
- Proven ability to interpret complex leases and challenge poor performance effectively.

- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
- Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay/6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility
- Formal qualifications and paid professional membership
