Hours: Full-time (40 Hours) – both Clinical and Supernumerary shifts with flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts.

We are looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager with strong clinical skills to join our team at Raleigh Mead Care Home. The key responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager are to oversee all aspects of clinical care. You will provide inspiring leadership and develop the clinical care teams to ensure we deliver the highest quality of care to our residents.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager:

  • Develop, promote and maintain high standards of care, medication management and clinical services, ensuring residents are safe and well protected.
  • Lead the home’s clinical quality control systems and coach staff to meet quality standards, engaging staff in this area and promoting practice transparency.
  • Support the Manager in developing and managing financial, human and material resources efficiently.
  • Provide inspiring leadership and motivation for the clinical staff team and the wider organization, fostering a positive culture where individuals are supported to achieve their best.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Qualified nurse, either RMN or RGN, with an active NMC pin.
  • Thorough understanding of the five guiding principles of first‑class care: SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE, WELL‑LED.
  • Experience at supervisory level, ideally within a nursing home, having previously worked as Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse.
