About the role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, supporting the management team to deliver smooth, high-quality service across all service periods. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example on the floor - coordinating the team, supporting service flow, and ensuring every guest has a great experience. You'll act as the link between the front-of-house team and management, helping to maintain standards, support team performance, and keep operations running efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Service & Guest Experience Support the delivery of a consistently high-quality guest experience across all service periods while acting as a visible and hands-on presence on the restaurant floor. Lead and support the front-of-house team during service, ensuring guests receive warm, professional, and efficient hospitality at all times. Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback confidently while maintaining high standards of presentation, atmosphere, and service delivery throughout the venue.
- Team Support & Leadership Supervise and support front-of-house team members during shifts, helping to create a positive, energetic, and guest-focused working environment. Assist with team briefings, section allocation, and service preparation while providing day-to-day coaching, guidance, and support to team members on the floor. Lead by example in maintaining professional standards, teamwork, and guest interaction.
- Operational Support Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant by assisting with service flow, table management, and section coordination. Help oversee opening and closing procedures while ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organised, and fully operational throughout service. Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient communication and smooth delivery of food and beverage service. Adapt quickly to matchdays, concerts, and event-driven trading periods where service volumes increase significantly.
- Standards & Compliance Support compliance with food safety, health & safety, hygiene, and licensing standards across all areas of the operation. Ensure company procedures and service standards are consistently followed by the wider team while maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness throughout the restaurant. Promote safe working practices and professional standards at all times.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with Restaurant Managers and wider operational teams to support service improvements and operational efficiency. Provide feedback on team performance, guest experience, and service flow while contributing to a culture focused on teamwork, development, and continuous improvement.
