Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and highly skilled Service Team members to join our prestigious team at Eastlands Venue Services working across two iconic venues for world-class entertainment and football, Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of presentation and etiquette at all times.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met.
- Accurately retain and recall menu and beverage information to provide informed recommendations.
- Ensure precision when taking food and drink orders, following established standards for clarity and accuracy.
- Operate EPOS handheld systems efficiently for food and drink ordering.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean working environment, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively within the team, supporting other sections and departments as required.
- Remain calm under pressure and efficiently manage multiple tasks during busy periods.
Desired Skills & Abilities
- Ability to carry and serve multiple plates while maintaining service etiquette.
- Competence in clearing tables efficiently while following proper etiquette.
- Experience carrying drinks trays and pouring wine professionally.
- Knowledge of opening wine bottles using a waiter's friend.
