About the role: As a Bartender, you'll deliver great drinks and friendly, efficient service in a fast paced hospitality environment. You'll work behind the bar preparing and serving beverages while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in quality and presentation, and thrives during busy service periods, including events.
You will be responsible for:
- Bar Service - Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and soft drinks; Deliver friendly, professional service to all guests; Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during busy service periods.
- Standards & Presentation - Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service; Follow brand and venue standards for drink quality and presentation; Ensure correct bar setup and close down procedures.
- Health, Safety & Compliance - Follow licensing laws and responsible alcohol service standards; Maintain hygiene, health & safety standards at all times; Use equipment safely and correctly.
- Team Support - Work closely with the bar and floor teams to ensure smooth service; Support senior bartenders and supervisors as required; Be flexible and supportive during event and high volume shifts.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Essential - Previous experience as a Bartender or Bar Team Member; Strong customer service skills; Ability to work in a fast paced environment; Positive attitude and team focused approach; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
- Desirable - Cocktail knowledge or experience; Experience in high volume or event led venues.
