In this role, the Creative Designer will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality visual assets that support food, beverage and hospitality operations across Co-op Live. This includes producing Premium Hospitality and GA (General Admission) design materials - menus, signage, digital screens and in-venue collateral - while ensuring a consistent, elevated visual identity across all guest-facing touchpoints. In addition, the role supports F&B marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, menu launches and venue-wide initiatives by creating engaging visual storytelling content that drives engagement, footfall and spend across all outlets. Where appropriate, this will include capturing or curating photography and supporting creative content formats to bring campaigns and experiences to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain all menu layouts, price boards, labelling, and allergen information for concessions, bars, lounges, and premium areas.
- Create visual assets for digital screens, static signage, and event-day displays, ensuring clarity and brand consistency across all public and hospitality areas.
- Produce wayfinding and in-venue communications that enhance the guest experience throughout GA and premium areas.
- Manage print and production processes for menus, signage, and collateral, liaising with suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Support creative development for F&B marketing campaigns including seasonal promotions, partner activations, new menu launches, and experiential concepts.
- Capture and curate high-quality photography of food, drink, outlets, and experiences for campaign and brand use.
Brand & Marketing Support
- Apply and maintain the EVS and Co-op Live brand identities across all Arena F&B and guest-facing materials.
- Design brochures, proposals, and marketing assets for the Co-op Live Events, Conferences & Exhibitions (C&E), and premium hospitality sales.
- Partner with the Coop Live marketing, digital, and F&B teams to deliver multi-channel campaigns (web, social, email, in-venue).
- Create visual storytelling assets that bring F&B concepts to life and enhance fan engagement.
- Collaborate with culinary and F&B operational teams to produce promotional assets for new initiatives, menus, retail experiences, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across signage, menus, POS, and campaign materials.
Digital & Visual Communication
- Deliver creative F&B content for digital signage across Co-op Live, and menu management systems, ensuring information is accurate and visually aligned.
- Optimise designs for multiple formats and screen sizes within the venue.
- Update and adapt assets in line with event schedules, seasonal menus, and partner requirements.
- Support SEO, engagement and conversion by ensuring digital visuals align with marketing objectives.
Workflow & Project Management
- Manage multiple design and marketing projects simultaneously often within tight event-based deadlines.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations Managers, Executive Chef, Commercial Sales) and external partners (printers, agencies) to ensure efficient production.
- Maintain a structured asset library and clear version control of all design materials for audit and reuse.
- Keep up to date with hospitality and event design trends, bringing fresh ideas to enhance guest communication and brand impact.
- Contribute to long-term planning of the annual F&B Marketing programme.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in a graphic design role (agency, in-house, or freelance), producing a range of high-quality creative assets.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical design ability and creative problem-solving.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar and familiar with print and digital production processes.
- Experience designing for menus, brochures, signage, and branded collateral.
- Ability to support marketing campaigns and translate objectives into engaging visual content.
- Strong storytelling ability with an understanding of hospitality or consumer behaviour.
- Understanding of brand identity management and how to apply guidelines consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail, layout, typography, visual hierarchy and maintaining brand standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Clear and confident communicator able to collaborate with operational and commercial stakeholders.
- A proactive, flexible mindset, able to respond quickly to changing event demands and deadlines.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional design that enhances guest experience and supports EVS's reputation for quality and innovation.
- Experience capturing or curating photography and/or basic video content to support marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.
Desirable
- Experience working within hospitality, events, retail, or entertainment environments.
- Understanding of food and beverage marketing and guest communication touchpoints.
- Experience producing assets for digital signage or menu management systems.
- Understanding of SEO, social optimisation and digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with project or workflow management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
- Basic knowledge of accessibility and compliance considerations in design (e.g. font readability, colour contrast, allergen labelling).
- Interest in sport, live entertainment, or venue operations.
- Interest in content creation, including photography, short-form video, reels or motion design.
