About the role
As Logistics / Goods In Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing all food, beverage, and stock deliveries into the business. You’ll ensure goods are received, checked, recorded, stored, and distributed correctly, supporting food safety, stock accuracy, and smooth kitchen and outlet operations. This role is key to maintaining quality control, stock availability, and operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Goods In & Stock Control – Managing all deliveries, checking goods against orders and invoices, uploading delivery notes, recording stock movements, and monitoring stock levels to highlight shortages or issues.
- Storage & Food Safety – Ensuring all products are stored correctly in line with food safety, temperature control, labelling, dating, and FIFO procedures, while maintaining clean and organised BOH storage areas.
- Supplier & Invoice Coordination – Liaising with suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues and supporting invoice verification and sign‑off processes.
- Operational Support – Distributing stock to kitchens and outlets, supporting Heads of Department with stocktakes, and providing general support as required to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- Experience in a goods‑in, logistics, stock control, or kitchen support role.
- Good understanding of food storage, handling, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience working with fresh and perishable produce.
- Experience in high‑volume or multi‑outlet operations.
- Familiarity with stock systems or inventory processes.
