  • Description

The Premium Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of exceptional food and beverage operations across Co-op Live's premium hospitality spaces during live entertainment events.

Reporting to the Senior Premium & Events Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring every premium guest receives an outstanding hospitality experience through operational excellence, strong leadership and exceptional service standards.

Working closely with culinary, logistics and operational teams, the Premium Manager will lead and develop high-performing teams while driving commercial performance, maintaining compliance and continuously enhancing the premium guest experience.

  • Day to Day Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of premium food and beverage operations across live entertainment events at Co-op Live.
  • Inspire, coach and develop high-performing hospitality teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure premium hospitality areas are fully prepared and operationally ready for every event.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective labour management, stock control and operational efficiency.
  • Champion outstanding guest service, continuously improving the premium experience through feedback and innovation.
  • Work collaboratively with Culinary, Logistics and Event Operations teams to deliver seamless events.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and the ongoing development of your team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing and company standards.
  • Use operational data and reporting to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the delivery of special events and contribute to the continued success of Premium Hospitality at Co-op Live.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

  • Proven experience managing premium hospitality or high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Experience leading operational teams within a stadium, arena, live events or similar fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing labour, costs and operational performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, EPOS and workforce management systems.
  • Good understanding of food safety, allergen management, COSHH and licensing legislation.
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent).
  • Personal Licence holder, or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable

  • Experience working within premium hospitality at a live entertainment venue, arena or stadium.
  • Experience supporting venue openings or large-scale mobilisation projects.
  • Knowledge of workforce scheduling systems such as Planday or similar.
  • Experience using guest insight and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Knowledge of the Manchester hospitality and live entertainment market.
