Kitchen Porter

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen, ensuring that chefs and kitchen staff have the support they need to deliver high-quality food in a safe, hygienic environment.

A FLAVOUR OF THE DAY TO DAY

• To carry out all effective cleaning duties as instructed by the Sous Chef.
• To ensure that all correct dosages are followed in all cleaning procedures.
• That all COSHH regulations are met.
• Ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Empty bins regularly to prevent overflow and maintain a clean workspace
• To ensure that all chemicals are stored and kept apart from all food production and kept in COSHH storeroom.
• To assist in making sure that the back of house areas is free of any blockages of goods or excess packaging and removed accordingly.
• To contribute to the building of staff relationships, morale and to take an active part in other colleagues welfare, safety and development.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen

If successful in your application, you will be required to provide eligibility to work evidence in line with the \’Eligibility to Work in the UK\’ requirements.
