Join us in delivering an exciting ‘Sustainable Steps Wales’ contract, backed by Dormant Assets funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. This initiative aims to empower young people with disabilities and those from ethnically minoritised communities across Wales to launch careers in green industries. Over the next five years, you’ll be part of a network of organisations building inclusive pathways, boosting confidence, teaching vocational and social skills, securing work placements and creating meaningful employment opportunities all across Wales.
Role Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? ELITE Supported Employment Agency (SEA) is seeking dedicated and motivated Employment Advisors to support disabled individuals, those with health conditions and others facing disadvantage in accessing and sustaining paid employment. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping participants overcome barriers, develop employability skills, and secure meaningful work. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to inclusion, empowerment, and positive change.
About the Role
- Accept and assess referrals to identify employment goals, barriers, and support needs.
- Deliver pre-employment activities and manage a caseload to support access to employment.
- Provide accredited and non-accredited training to individuals and groups.
- Liaise with employers to secure job opportunities, placements, and volunteering roles.
- Support employers with reasonable adjustments and promote Disability Confident practices.
- Deliver in-work support, job coaching, and job maintenance strategies.
- Promote ELITE’s services through presentations and marketing events.
- Provide financial guidance, including Better Off in Work calculations.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor participant progress, and meet project KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximise outcomes.
