As a Performance Manager, you’ll lead a high-impact team of Employment Advisers, driving them to exceed targets, deliver meaningful support to jobseekers, and make a lasting difference in your local community. You'll be coaching, motivating, developing, and guiding individuals to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve KPIs, and grow both professionally and personally. This is more than a management role. It’s a chance to lead with purpose.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team to hit performance, quality, and customer service goals.
  • Use your coaching skills to build a high-performing team through daily support, reviews, and performance management.
  • Inspire through action – prioritising underperformance and unlocking your team's full potential.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and employers to ensure steady customer flow and new opportunities.
  • Drive employer engagement and commercial growth in the local market.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in team leadership within a target-driven, customer-facing environment.
  • A natural coach – able to spot potential, guide development, and build confidence.
  • A performance mindset, able to interpret data, drive improvements, and think strategically.
  • Strong understanding of employability services, employment law, and diversity & inclusion.
  • An NVQ Level 5 in Management & Leadership (or equivalent) is ideal.
