- Job Allocation & Coordination: Assign tasks to Service Technicians based on skill level and job requirements, coordinating closely with the Parts Department for timely parts availability and updating Service Advisors on job progress.
- Resource Management & Control: Manage departmental resources, authorise purchases for non-franchise parts, and ensure warranty work complies with guidelines.
- Customer Service & Complaint Resolution: Monitor customer service quality, address issues proactively, and maintain a record of complaints for review and resolution.
- Performance Monitoring & Team Development: Conduct appraisals, implement training plans, and track monthly accounts to monitor profitability and productivity.
- Workshop Organisation & Safety Compliance: Maintain housekeeping standards, organise overtime to meet demands, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
