AprilVets Chester is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. As an independent, veterinarian-owned clinic, we’re building a supportive workplace focused on exceptional patient care, team wellbeing, and professional growth and we want you to be a part of it from day 1!
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Perform laboratory testing, radiography, and dental radiographs
- Educate clients on pet health and preventive care
- Support a Fear Free, patient-centered experience
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible for registration)
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork
- Fear Free certification or interest in obtaining certification is an asset
- Previous veterinary experience preferred
Starting wage of $24+/hour (based on experience)
