POSITION: Enrichment Teacher/Substitute Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) – East Islip
PROGRAM: Serve as a daily homework assistance teacher for the ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Program at various locations in East Islip UFSD K-5 buildings.
SITE: Various K-5 Elementary Buildings in the East Islip School District
LOCATIONS: East Islip, NY and Islip Terrace, NY
HOURS: Monday – Thursday ~ September – June (when school is in session) Typical range between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Daily)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and maintain effective instruction and academic support during the mandatory homework/reading periods, enrichment lessons, and special events.
- Monitor students to provide adequate supervision and a safe environment, including following health and safety guidelines outlined by the district.
- Provide communication with parents, staff, and ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Directors.
- May also facilitate weekly special activities/projects for additional hours (per diem).
START DATE: September 5, 2024
SALARY: $22.95/hour (when school is in session)

- NYS K-6 Certification
