Eastern Palliative Care Ltd (EPC) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers specialist home-based palliative care to clients and their families living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. Permanent 0.95 EFT (8 hour day shifts, 9 day fortnight). Located in Mitcham. Part of a team of passionate and supportive people.

To be successful, you MUST have the following:

  • Proven experienced palliative care leader with current contemporary clinical skills.
  • Min. of 5 years recent experience in palliative care.
  • Excellent communication, creative and innovative with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Focused on building a high performing team.
  • Experience in delivering care via telehealth, including ability to support staff with adoption of technology.
  • Ability to champion change management.
  • Competency with common computer applications.
  • Current VIC Driver’s license.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1.
  • Passion for holistic person-centred nursing care.

The following would be desirable:

  • Post graduate qualifications in palliative care or working towards.
  • Experienced in developing, directing and delivering new projects.
  • Energised by opportunities to introduce new processes and innovation.
  • Demonstrated interest in palliative care in aged care.
