Role Overview:
- To ensure the appropriate documentation of vehicle sales and purchases is maintained.
- To assist in the application of Group accounting policies and procedures.
- To ensure the efficient risk management for the purchase of used vehicles by ensuring that the appropriate checks have been performed.
- Invoicing of vehicle sales.
- Taxing of vehicles and management of applicable RFL rebates.
- Maintain both internal and external channels of communication.
- Involvement in both Group and Branch ad hoc project work.
- Management of warranty sales.
- Supervise the adoption of new vehicles.
- Maintain the vehicle ledgers and stocklists.
- Involvement in periodic stock checks.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and validations of vehicle related accounts.
- Assist with vehicle debtor credit control.
- Manage DVLA registrations.
- Settlement of outstanding finance on vehicle purchases.
- Preparation of weekly stock and finance reports.
- Maintenance of Motor Insurance database MIDFLEET.
- Calculation of commission for monthly payroll where applicable.
- Assistance with any other task as directed.
