Eastern High are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Attendance Officer to join our team and make a real difference to pupils' lives. In this vital role, you will improve attendance and reduce persistent absence by monitoring daily patterns, identifying concerns early, and leading timely, supportive interventions.

Working closely with students, families, staff, and external agencies, you will help remove barriers to attendance through effective communication, data analysis, and where appropriate, home visits - ensuring every learner has the best possible chance to succeed. You will play a key role in promoting a culture where attendance is understood, valued, and actively encouraged, while ensuring statutory responsibilities are met. Grade 5 SP 11-19 FTE Β£28,142 - Β£32,061 - needs to be pro rata'd for remainder of weeks for this academic year. Or if September start will be a term time contract of 39 weeks. 37 hours per week 8am - 4pm. Term Time 39 weeks pa.
