Acting as an internal consultant, you will coach and influence managers to fulfil their responsibilities, lead health and safety priorities within business plans, and oversee risk assessment and incident management systems.
You will conduct workplace assessments, manage audits and inspections, ensure robust investigation of incidents, and develop impactful training initiatives.
Working closely with internal teams and contractors, you will analyse performance data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement, while supporting procurement processes, contributing to strategic objectives and deputising for the Group Head of Health & Safety when required.
The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate and have at least three years' experience as a Health & Safety Practitioner, ideally across multiple sites and within the education sector.
You will bring strong legal knowledge, analytical ability, and the confidence to lead, influence and communicate at all levels.
With excellent organisational skills, a commitment to safeguarding, and the flexibility to travel across Group campuses, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, healthy and legally compliant environment where learners and colleagues can thrive.
