This role will lead the day-to‑day management of social media across our Further Education colleges and Higher Education provision, delivering engaging, on‑brand content across platforms including You Tube, Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok.

You will be responsible for planning, creating and scheduling content, producing short‑form video using tools such as Cap Cut, and maintaining content calendars aligned with recruitment cycles, events and campaigns.

You will coordinate and support these ambassadors to co‑create authentic, student‑led content, providing clear briefs, guidance and feedback to ensure quality and consistency.

Acting as the main link between students and the central marketing team, you will also support basic training in social media best practice, accessibility and emerging trends.

Alongside this, you will track and report on performance, using insights and data to continually refine content and improve engagement and reach.

You will also support paid social activity, particularly across Meta platforms, assisting with campaign setup, audience targeting, creative testing and performance reporting.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute to wider content creation and digital campaigns, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to enhance performance.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of social media, excellent communication skills, and experience creating engaging digital content.

You should be proactive, detail‑oriented and confident managing multiple priorities, with a collaborative approach and a passion for connecting with student audiences.
