As a Level 3 qualified Carpenter with hands‑on industry experience, you will bring your technical expertise and professional knowledge to our dynamic teaching environment. Your strong communication and mentoring skills will enable you to support both staff and students during practical demonstrations, workshops, and classroom activities. You will have a natural ability to pass on your skills and experiences, nurturing learners as they develop their own capabilities in carpentry techniques such as measuring, cutting, assembling and installing timber structures.
You will teach and assess across Carpentry programmes, including Apprenticeships, FE courses, T Levels and related provision, as well as plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality learning that meets College, awarding body and employer standards. You will also act as Tutor to learning groups, providing academic guidance, pastoral support and progression advice.
