Lecturer In Brickworks in Bury St Edmunds

Eastern Education Group is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Lecturer in Brickwork to support our dedicated teaching team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching in areas such as groundwork, reinstatement, and construction practices. Your expertise will help equip students and apprentices with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills required for success in the civil engineering and construction sectors. Your main duties will include:

• Teach and assess across all Brickwork programmes, including Apprenticeships, FE courses, T Levels, and related provision.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality learning that meets College, awarding body, and employer standards.
• Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, learning resources, and assessment materials.

We are particularly interested in candidates with practical experience in brickwork, groundwork and reinstatement within construction settings. Holding relevant industry qualifications and assessment qualifications (e.g. TAQA or equivalent) would be highly beneficial. While teaching experience is desirable, we also welcome applicants who are willing to undertake teacher training as part of their professional development.
