An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Tractor Driver/General Farm Worker. Easter Caputh Farming Co is a family-run progressive Agri business based in Perthshire, growing root crops, cereals plus a small suckler beef herd. Due to a pending retirement, we are looking for a new member of our team.

The job role will involve:

  • Operating a modern fleet of machinery to the highest of standards.
  • Primary and secondary cultivations covering cereals, potatoes, and carrots.
  • Sprayer duties to cover holidays (PA1 & 2 certificates).
  • Haulage work.
  • Forklift duties (both telehandler and industrial) loading grain lorries and potato lorries.
  • Potato boxes in and out of store.
  • General tractor work.
  • Machinery maintenance.
  • General farm maintenance.

Ideally, the applicant will have a full clean driver's license, experience in GPS technology, up-to-date certificates for forklift and good record-keeping skills. However, full training will be offered for the right candidate. Attitude and attention to detail are most important, and being able to work within a team and on their own as required.

The position is for a full-time operator with overtime required during peak periods. An attractive package is on offer for the right candidate including accommodation (if required).
