About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high-quality and person-centred care and support to residents living within the Home. You will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily living activities, wellbeing, independence and quality of life while helping create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals feel valued, respected and supported.

Working closely with nursing, care and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to positive resident experiences and the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident Care
  • Demonstrable literacy, numeracy and communication skills appropriate to the role.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience supporting individuals living with dementia, mental health conditions or complex care needs.
  • Experience supporting mentoring, induction or development of colleagues.
  • Experience using electronic care planning or digital documentation systems.
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health.
