Are you an advocate for wellbeing and child safety? Are you a confident collaborator? Do you appreciate the importance of a cohesive whole college approach to Safeguarding?
We’re looking for a Safeguarding Coordinator to join the Student Services Team here at East Coast College.
Supporting the highly experienced and dedicated team in providing a front-line response to safeguarding referrals, you will manage your own caseload, and liaise closely with the Safeguarding Lead.
Collaborating with students, staff, and external services will be key in your role as first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns, and your astute knowledge of legislation, guidance, and college policies, will allow you to act, support, and guide accordingly.
Your attention to detail, ability to articulate, and accurate record keeping, will make multi-agency involvement not only effective for safeguarding issues, but also conducive in helping the college to further develop robust policies and procedures, making us able to maximise the provision.
