The role of a Work Placement Coordinator and Assessor is fundamental in curating and managing placement opportunities, with valued existing and new local employers. Managing a caseload of learners, your industry expertise will help to create action plans, deliver knowledge, complete workplace assessments, and ultimately help to drive achievement.

Your ability to “bridge the gap” between classroom delivery and practical experience will rely on your:

  • First class administration and organisation skills
  • Confident and effective communication with students, lecturers, and employers
  • Ability to identify quality placement opportunities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and Health and Safety
  • Enthusiasm in supporting aspirations and achievement
