Eastchurch is a nationwide commercial contractor delivering construction, fitouts and facilities management across the UK — working with landlords and clients in the industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality sectors. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead the front end of our sales pipeline.

The role

  • Identify and win new construction, fitout and facilities management work, build lasting relationships with clients, consultants and main contractors, and run a structured, data-led approach to growth.
  • It's a hands-on mix of relationship building in the field and disciplined pipeline management in the office.

What you'll do

  • Identify, qualify and win new business across our target sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, landlords, consultants and main contractors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, working with estimating and operations on bids and proposals.
  • Own our CRM (HubSpot) — keep the pipeline accurate, log activity, and report on forecasts and win/loss.
  • Represent Eastchurch at client meetings, site visits and industry events nationwide.

What you'll bring

  • Proven business development or B2B sales experience (construction, fitout, FM or built environment a plus).
  • A track record of hitting revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Confident CRM user — managing pipeline, reporting and clean data (HubSpot ideal).
  • Strong computer literacy: Microsoft 365, collaboration and video tools.
  • Practical user of AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude or similar) — or a clear appetite to adopt them.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

What we offer

  • Competitive base + uncapped commission, car allowance, hybrid working, pension, holiday and real progression as we grow — plus a supportive team that lives by its values: reactiveness, reliability, respect and quality.
