Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Do you have the skills to support families and improve school attendance? Eastchurch Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Attendance Officer and Family Liaison Officer (FLO) to join our team. This dual-role position is central to ensuring every child can thrive by promoting excellent attendance and supporting families to overcome barriers to learning.

In this role, you will work closely with pupils, staff, and parents, using a collaborative and supportive approach to monitor attendance, implement targeted interventions, and build strong, trusting relationships with families. If you are organised, empathetic, and committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing, we would love to hear from you. This post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time only (38 weeks).

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, track, and report on attendance data, identifying trends and concerns
  • Provide early intervention and guidance to support families
  • Conduct home visits and liaise effectively with external agencies
  • Promote positive parental engagement and strengthen links between home and school
  • Work collaboratively with Partnerships in Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) colleagues to support children and families
  • Develop and lead parent forums and workshops to empower and support families
