EMC Uckfield are looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone that has a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and develop in our team with a positive attitude and good working relations with their colleagues to join our multi-brand workshop.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be working in a busy workshop environment, where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the Suzuki and Vauxhall brands. EMC Uckfield takes pride in helping our employees to develop their knowledge through training opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- The general maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles.
- Diagnosing and fault finding on vehicles.
- Reliable and conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
Requirements
What we're looking for in a Vehicle Technician:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent
- Ability to complete motor vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work effectively within a team and ensure industry-leading customer service
- Accuracy in using our online VHC Video system
- Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Ability to use own initiative and work under minimum supervision
