We have a great opportunity for a talented Email Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team, to support with driving the performance of our email channel on a Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave. You will play a key role in delivering impactful campaigns that support our ambition to be the ‘Destination For Decorators’ by optimising engagement and sales and continuously improving performance through data driven insights.
What does the role of Email Marketing Executive involve?
- Plan and manage the email marketing calendar aligned with business and category plans
- Build and deliver engaging email campaigns, including briefing creative and written content
- Test and optimise campaigns to improve open rates, click throughs and conversions
- Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights
- Develop and manage automated email journeys
- Maintain and segment email databases to ensure accuracy and performance
- Collaborate with marketing teams, branches and suppliers on campaigns
- Support landing page creation and campaign delivery where required
- Work with external agencies and stay up to date with email marketing best practice
- Coordinating the recently implemented SMS marketing activities
Who we are looking for to join the team:
- Previous vocational experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns for business
- A strong understanding of email performance metrics and optimisation
- Confident analysing data and using insights to improve campaigns
- Practical knowledge of the following is desirable but not essential - Adobe Express, Hubspot, Google Analytics
- Confident in segmenting database to create target campaigns
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing including spelling, punctuation and grammar with a collaborative approach and strong stakeholder communication skills
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately to a high standard with a ‘right first time’ approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to an intermediate level including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and happy to learn and embrace new software and technologies
